Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how RUVCLOUD ("the Platform") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our services. By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described here.

1. Information we collect

  • Device identifier: an SSAID (session-level anonymous identifier) generated on first visit, used to link your orders without registration;
  • Account information: the email address you provide when registering or linking an account;
  • Transaction data: order ID, selected model, billing period, and payment status from checkout and payment;
  • Payment information: transaction references returned by Stripe after payment; the Platform does not store card numbers or raw payment credentials;
  • Service logs: login times, API request paths, and error logs recorded automatically during service use;
  • Ticket content: issue descriptions and attachments you submit through the console.

The Platform does not use cookies for ad tracking and does not deploy third-party behavioral analytics SDKs.

2. How we use information

The Platform uses collected information only for:

  • Provisioning, managing, and delivering the node services you purchase;
  • Processing payments, verifying transaction status, and sending required receipts or notification emails;
  • Verifying account identity and preventing fraud and abuse;
  • Responding to tickets and technical support requests;
  • Maintaining service security and troubleshooting system issues;
  • Meeting compliance obligations under applicable laws and regulations.

The Platform does not use your personal information for marketing, automated decision-making, or profiling.

3. Sharing and disclosure

The Platform does not sell personal information. We share data with third parties only in these limited cases:

  • Payment processor (Stripe): only data required to complete transactions; Stripe's privacy policy applies;
  • Email delivery (Resend): only recipient address and message content for verification codes and service notifications;
  • Law enforcement or courts: disclosure within the minimum scope required when we receive a legally binding order or subpoena;
  • Business successors: if the Platform undergoes merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, relevant data may move to the successor with advance notice to users.

4. Data retention

The Platform retains data as follows:

  • Account data: deleted 90 days after account closure;
  • Transaction and billing records: retained at least 7 years for financial compliance;
  • Service logs: rolling 90-day retention;
  • Ticket records: retained 12 months after account closure.

After retention periods expire, data is permanently destroyed or irreversibly anonymized.

5. Data security

The Platform uses industry-standard measures including TLS in transit, encryption at rest, and access controls. No security measure is absolute; the Platform is not liable without limit for breaches caused by force majeure or third-party attacks.

If a material security vulnerability affects user data, the Platform will notify affected users by registered email within a reasonable time.

6. Your rights

Under applicable law, you may have the following rights (processed within 30 business days of receipt):

  • Right of access: request a copy of your personal data held by the Platform;
  • Right to rectification: request correction of inaccurate personal data;
  • Right to erasure: request deletion of your account and related data where legal retention does not apply;
  • Right to restrict processing: request restriction of processing during a dispute;
  • Right to data portability: obtain a copy of your data in a common format.

The Platform may refuse or limit frequent, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded requests where permitted by law, and may charge reasonable administrative fees for requests requiring substantial effort.

To exercise these rights, email support@ruvcloud.com with the request type and your account email.

7. Minors

Services are for adults aged 18 and over. The Platform does not knowingly collect minors' personal information. If a minor registered without guardian consent, contact us and we will delete the data and close the account promptly.

8. Cross-border data transfers

Platform infrastructure spans multiple regions. By using the Service, you consent to your data being transferred and stored on servers outside your location. The Platform applies appropriate safeguards so transfers comply with applicable data protection law.

9. Governing law and dispute resolution

This Policy is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the platform operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising from this Policy or the processing of personal data shall first be resolved through negotiation; if negotiation fails, they shall be submitted to courts with jurisdiction in that jurisdiction.

10. Policy changes

The Platform may modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates take effect when published. Material changes will be notified by registered email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
